FOIA Requests Submitted by the Road District
The Freedom of Information Act works in both directions. The Northfield Township Road District receives FOIA requests from the public, and the Road District also submits FOIA requests to other units of government when it needs records to carry out its statutory duties — verifying shared costs, confirming jurisdictional boundaries, reviewing intergovernmental billing, and documenting decisions that affect Road District operations and taxpayers.
Every request the Road District has submitted to another public body is listed below, along with the records sought, the statutory response deadline, and what was received. Select any entry to open the full record.

About the response deadline. A public body must respond to a non-commercial FOIA request within five business days of receipt, and may extend that deadline by up to five additional business days for reasons listed in Section 3(e) of the Act. The bar shown on each entry tracks business days elapsed against the applicable deadline.
