Paper Shredding in Northbrook, Glenview & Northfield
The Northfield Township Road District offers residents free, secure paper shredding to help protect against identity theft. It is a simple, local way to safely destroy sensitive documents you no longer need.
Why Use Paper Shredding
Old bank statements, tax records, medical bills, and other paperwork contain personal details that identity thieves look for. On-site paper shredding destroys those documents securely, giving you peace of mind that your information will not end up in the wrong hands.
What to Bring
Bring documents with personal or financial information — statements, bills, and forms. It is usually best to remove large binder clips; check current guidelines for whether staples and paper clips are accepted before you arrive.
When Paper Shredding Is Offered
Paper shredding is provided on a scheduled basis, often as a special event during the recycling season. For the next shredding date and any limits on quantity, contact the Road District.
