Brush Pickup for Northfield Township Residents
Brush pickup helps residents of Northbrook, Glenview, and Northfield keep their properties clean and safe by collecting tree branches, limbs, and woody yard trimmings from the parkway. It is one of the most-used seasonal services the Road District provides.
What Brush Pickup Collects
Brush pickup is for woody yard material such as tree branches and shrub trimmings. Please keep leaves, grass clippings, roots, dirt, and construction debris separate, as those materials are not accepted. Bundling requirements can vary, so check current guidelines before your scheduled pickup.
How to Prepare Your Brush
Stack branches neatly at the edge of the parkway with the cut ends facing the street. Keep piles clear of parked cars, mailboxes, fire hydrants, and utility poles so crews and chipping equipment can work safely and efficiently. Smaller, uniform piles are collected fastest.
When Is Brush Picked Up?
Brush pickup is offered on a seasonal schedule across Northfield Township. For current pickup dates, routes, and any weather-related changes, contact the Road District — our team is happy to confirm the next date for your street.
